Brian Seastrom Admitted as a Fellow to the International Academy of Family Lawyers

Brian Seastrom was recently admitted as a Fellow to the International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL) — formerly known as the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. IAFL is a worldwide association of attorneys who have received recognition from their peers as the most experienced and skilled family law attorneys in their respective countries. The organization was founded in 1985 to improve the practice of law and administration of justice in the fields of divorce and family law throughout the world. Membership is by invitation only, and invitees are submitted to a rigorous screening process in order to ensure the highest level of expertise within the organization. 

Philip Seastrom Admitted as a Diplomat to the American College of Family Trial Lawyers

Philip Seastrom was recently admitted as a diplomat to the prestigious American College of Family Trial Lawyers (ACFTL), a select group of 100 of the top family law trail lawyers from across the United States. ACFTL diplomats have achieved national recognition for handling well-publicized cases and cutting-edge issues of national importance. All ACFTL diplomats are members of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and are selected based upon their recognized litigation skills. 

Nicole Stuntz and Mikita Weaver Each Named as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers Magazine

Nicole Stuntz and Mikita Weaver were each named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers, a publication that lists the top-ranked attorneys in the United States. Eligible candidates go through a rigorous selection process before being named Super Lawyers that includes formal nomination, independent research by Super Lawyers, and peer evaluation. Rising Stars meet all of the qualifications of Super Lawyers, but to be eligible for inclusion, must be either 40 years old or younger and in practice for 10 years or less. While up to 5% of the attorneys in any given state may be named to Super Lawyers, no more than 2.5% are named Rising Stars.
